Docbank now keeps a newer recorded source-metadata generation active when an older generation is published again. The replay still succeeds and the immutable evidence remains available, but it no longer makes stale metadata active.
New generations still advance the head, current-generation retries remain idempotent, and a missing head is recreated. Visual-preview ordering and the runtime-dependent preview fingerprint remain separate concerns.
